EIC Community and Ecosystem Partnership Programme
This new EIC tender aims to establish and maintain EIC Community Programs, offering financing for events, training, and activities that support deep-tech founders.

U2U Foundation x Cicada Grant Program

AIxBlock, a decentralized AI infrastructure startup based in the U.S., was recently awarded a €1.5 million innovation grant from the European Union to advance its distributed compute platform, tapping into idle European data centers. The grant includes the potential for up to €61.5 million in follow-on funding.
While this move signals the EU’s growing commitment to decentralized technologies and AI, it also sparks broader reflection across the ecosystem: How can public funding better serve and strengthen local innovation ecosystems within Europe? As the region works to close the gap with the U.S. and China in emerging tech, questions of technological sovereignty, job creation, and ecosystem alignment are more relevant than ever.
Institutional grant allocation isn't just about supporting innovation. It’s about shaping where and how that innovation thrives. We hope that’s the case with this grant, fostering sustainable growth for Europe’s tech landscape. 🇮🇳 In a groundbreaking move for Web3, Neurolov, a decentralized AI computing platform, has secured a historic $12 million deal with the Indian government, signed at the Vibrant Gujarat Summit with Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel. As the first Web3 compute network to gain government backing in India, Neurolov aims to power national infrastructure, supporting applications in healthcare, startups, and public systems through community-run compute nodes. This milestone highlights the growing real-world utility of Web3 technologies and sets a precedent for government adoption in the decentralized ecosystem. Well done!
